安德烈・纪德（1869－1951），法国著名作家。1947年度诺贝尔文学奖获得者。主要作品有《人间食粮》《背德者》《窄门》《伪币制造者》等，1909年与友人创办《新法兰西评论》，对现代法国文学产生巨大影响。他先是苏联事业的同情者，继而加入共产主义阵营。1936年6月17日，纪德应苏联政府的邀请，以国宾的身份出度高尔基的葬礼，并对苏联进行了为期十周的访问。然而，想象中理想的苏联与实际情况差距太大，他发觉自己原来陷入了乌托邦式的空想之中，访苏归来，纪德不再是共产党人了。归国不久发表《访苏归来》，3万多字的短文，加上次年出版的《附录》、《对正》等材料，也不足10万字，可是却掀起轩然大波，一夜之间，纪德就从苏联和共产主义的友人变成“敌人”。当年那种辩论和攻击的激烈程度，只有经过重大政治运动的人，才能有所领会。
